Karnataka Special Cuisine-------Maddur Vada

This is very special karnataka snack,the name itself tells us that the place Maddur which lies between Bangalore and Mysore, is famous for this dish.whenever we used to travel by car/bus to Mysore from Bangalore ,i make sure that we have that tasty snack on the way.Its a very tasty tea -time snack and goes very well with hot filter coffee.As usual my mom  makes it very good ones.you can store this for at least two days.

Ingredients :
1 cup rice flour
1/4 cup chiroti(fine) Rava
1/4 cup All purpose flour(maida)
1-11/2 onion finely chopped
3-5 green chilies
curry leaves
coriander leaves
1/8 cup peanuts coarsly cut in mixer
salt to taste
oil for frying
hing
1 tbsp of hot oil to mix
1 tsp sesame seeds/jeera(optional)
Method:

Mix together all the above ingredients and  knead into a dough(like akki rotti dough).
Take a sheet ,if you have a plastic /non sticky type sheet is better.greasee the sheet.
Make small small balls of the dough.
Flat this balls on the sheet into small round chapattis and keep it ready.
Keep oil on heat and when the  oil is hot add one by one into the oil.
fry both sides till nice light brown color comes/bubbles of the oil are settled.
remove and serve with any chutneys,ketchup.

Goes very well with hot tea/coffee.
